Starting and Running Better Giving Circles

Women in Science Giving Circle Interview

by Sharon

Dawn Wooley leads the Women in Science Giving Circle at Wright State University. They provide women scientists with funding to finish their research and papers in the hopes that those women can continue their educational and professional goals in the scientific field. We discuss challenges of running a giving circle with a busy schedule, of recruiting new members, and how they handle their award process since some giving circle members do not have a science background.
