The Simple Definition of a Giving Circle
A giving circle is a group of people who pool their donations of time and/or money.
What is a Giving Circle’s Purpose?
To make bigger and better donations as a group!
When a group of people pool their donations, they make a bigger group donation and make a bigger impact on a charity.
A giving circle has a donation committee who researches a charity before making a donation, so they choose a better charity who will make a bigger impact on the problem.
A giving circle educates its members about the problem, so they can identify which programs and which charities are going to make a bigger difference.
