Starting and Running Better Giving Circles

University of Arkansas Women’s Giving Circle

by Sharon

I was fortunate to benefit from Charlotte Taylor’s, the Senior Director of Development at the University of Arkansas, vast experience in running the Women’s Giving Circle. Launched in 2002, they have over 120 members who are actively involved in choosing which University programs to fund with the $140,000 raised just this year.

Their giving circle makes up an important part of her annual fundraising efforts, and it is also one of the ones she enjoys the most. Listen to this great interview to understand how they run their giving circle and great tips for recruiting new members.
