I spoke with Melissa Sines and Rebecca Southers, co-founders of the Frederick Giving Project, and discovered two young women bringing a lot of fun and a little irreverence to the idea of giving circles. They are using house parties and visible service projects to effectively recruit members. In two years, they’ve grown to almost 80 members, so they must be doing something right!
