Starting and Running Better Giving Circles

Saffron Circle Interview

by Sharon

Varsha Ghosh and I talk about the Saffron Circle. She is especially proud that they’ve been able to maintain a pan-Asian and multi-generational membership, and they’ve had a strong focus on educational outreach to teach others about the needs and issues facing the Asian community. They have a three-tiered donation structure so that being a member is accessible and rewarding to a wide variety of people.

Enjoy this interview where we discuss their educational events, their grant process, and the challenges they’re facing 5 years into running a giving circle.
